SIM card for GPS plotter
A SIM card GPS tracker is a microchip that works with a GSM network and is mostly integrated into a mobile phone. A GPS tracker with a GSM module with this microchip is equipped to use the GSM network to transmit information, whether it is sms coordinates or an alert message.
The SIM card is generally not provided by the manufacturer of the GPS beacon. It is up to the user to obtain it from a local telecommunications operator. The latter will therefore assign him a telephone number. You can choose between signing up for a phone plan or opting for a prepaid plan to be able to transmit the data and communicate with the user's phone number. There are three SIM card formats, namely the mini SIM card, the micro SIM and the nano SIM. It is chosen based on the SIM interface offered by the GPS tracker. In general, older models are designed for the mini SIM while the newer ones only have a nano SIM interface. Smaller and more practical, the nano SIM saves space. It is often found in devices GPS spy which are small in size.
