What to do when his spy camera is not recognized by his PC?

You want to view the video images recently filmed using your spy camera, but your PC can't recognize it. Our advice!

How do you plug a spy camera into a computer?

Normally, all spy cameras are designed to be compatible with all types of computers and most operating systems. If this is the case, your mini wifi camera does not require an installation driver to be recognized by your machine.

However, in some situations, your computer may not be able to detect your camera even though the light is on. The question then is: how to rectify this incompatibility problem without compromising your operating system or damaging your device? Below are the steps you can take to correct this anomaly.

     1. Check the charging status of your spy camera

It's only natural that your device should have a low load level when it's acquired. It will therefore have to be unloaded completely and loaded for long hours before using it. A light will let you know if the charge is complete or incomplete. Once this is done, you can plug it into your computer with the USB socket.

     2. Reset the device if necessary

Your camera's battery charge is still full, your device is working properly, but it suddenly shuts down for reasons you don't know. In this case, reset the device by pressing the "Reset" button before plugging it into your machine.

     3. Change the USB port on which the device needs to be plugged in

When your PC or Mac can't recognize your device, choose one of the USB ports at the back of your central unit. Sometimes the recognition problem is simply due to poor contacts on these ports.

    4. Remove the micro-SD card, insert it into a card adapter to play the videos

If the problem persists, and without necessarily having to install a driver, simply remove the micro-SD card from the device and plug it into your PC using a card adapter.
