The analog dictaphone

The analog dictaphone is a very easy-to-use recording device. It simply works thanks to a system of micro-cassettes. These are placed in the dictaphone to store the records you will make.

The analog dictaphone, although popular, is increasingly obsolete in the face of its digital version. Its only advantage is that the micro-cassette can be easily removed. However, this device is cumbersome compared to more modern recording devices.

The digital dictaphone

The digital dictaphone is the worthy successor to the analog dictaphone. In addition to being less cumbersome, the latter incorporates more up-to-date features. Indeed, the digital dictaphone has a compartment intended to accommodate an external storage card. This is advantageous especially if your device's internal memory is low.

Depending on the model and brand, a digital dictaphone will record a sound in a particular format. The most common are mp3, WMA and PCM.

The player mp3 recorder

The mp3 recorder is the most compact of the dictaphones. As the name suggests, it has two main features: l'sound recording and audio file playback. With this type of device, you can easily take voice notes. In addition to an internal memory, the mp3 recorder has a location to receive an SD card.

The recorder player stores audio files in the MP3 format as the name suggests. However, one drawback of this device is that the recording quality will not always be there.
