Autonomy on standby
Autonomy applies to mobile devices operating with a rechargeable battery. This is the time during which it allows the device to operate without it being connected to an electrical outlet. This autonomy is limited although manufacturers do everything possible to optimize the quality of their batteries.
In terms of the lithium battery, it usually offers a few hours of battery life for mobile phones and laptops. Devices such as spy camera and the camera watch have a little less autonomy but not be prohibitive. Only, there comes a time when you need to optimize battery voting battery life for whatever reason.
That's why manufacturers have turned to a very practical function called sleep mode. In standby mode, a device such as spy camera clock will not work at all times, but will be put to sleep, as if asleep. Equipped with a motion sensor, the camera's image sensor will only be triggered in front of a suspicious presence. This allows the device to fulfill its role while saving energy. Theautonomy on standby is therefore the operating time provided by the battery, when the device is in sleep mode.
