Dash cam
The dash cam is a on-board camera dashboard, in reference to the Dashboard. This device is currently in use all over the world. Also known as the "driving recorder," the dash cam is usually placed on the windshield and has the function of filming and recording everything that happens on the road throughout the journey. It is a kind of DVR that can not only record the images, but also the sounds during traffic.
Different types of them can be found on the market. First of all, there is the on-board camera for simple target car, whose main task is to record what is happening at the front of the vehicle. Then there is the dual-lded car on-board camera, which records both what happens in the front and back of the vehicle.
The dash cam today are equipped with several features very useful for the driver. Most models include motion and shock sensors, night vision, full HD sensors, GPS, or even a parking assistant. On the other hand, the data they collect can be used as evidence in case of problems.
